I obtained my Interior Design training at
the New York School of Interior Design and have been a
continuously practicing professional Interior Designer
for twenty-five years. As a member of the American Society
of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Washington Design Center, I have access to many resources
throughout the industry. My design studio is available
by appointment and contains wallpaper books, fabrics,
furniture catalogs, window treatments, art work, accessories,
etc.
I have three children. My oldest daughter Michele and
her husband Ba Aye and two children, Kendra and Bianca live on Maui, Hawaii. They own a
wholesale clothing design and manufacturing company

My middle child, Brenda, is an attorney with the U.
S. Department of Justice in the Crimes and Terrorism
unit in Washington, D.C. She has also worked with the
United Nations and was stationed in Rwanda, Tanzania,
and East Timor. Her daughter's name is Sujata. My son John and his wife Eryn live in Miami and Washington, DC. His primary focus is on Human Rights cases.
My husband, Chris, and I recently moved to Capitol Hill in Washington, DC along
with our eleven year old Yorkshire Terrier named Pooky
and our five year old Shih Tzu named Suki. Before that we lived for 15 years in a 100 year old Victorian
home in the Spring Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh Our Pittsburgh house
was recently featured in an article in the newspaper.
